Dominance? What's that?
In prides, packs, and the like, there's a hierarchy of dominance in the group. At the top is the leader, at the bottom is the weakest link. In our pride, members can brawl for dominance IC. Males and females will be kept separate in this- so naturally, the dominant male is 1st among males and dominant female is 1st among females. The lead huntress is 2nd.
To know how dominant a member is, simply take a look at their tag. The number displayed next to their tag(Sb/Ln) is their dominance. For instance, Ln3 would mean this member is the most dominant currently. The higher the number, the lower the dominance, and the lower the number the higher the dominance.
You can earn dominance through certain social interactions, like showing respect for those higher up and etc.
There are dominance points. They affect you IC.
How do I challenge another member?
To challenge a member for their place, you must fill out a form(in separate thread). Once the challenge is done with and completed IC, both members are on a cool-down for 3 real days. They cannot be attacked nor challenge others during this time.
The dominant female/male and lead huntress CAN be challenged- BUT, in order to challenge such a high rank, you must have won 4 brawls and be at the top of your list.
From then on, when a member challenges another member, the winner gets the other member's rank and the loser gets the other member's rank. If a member with lower dominance attacks a member with higher dominance and looses, nothing will happen. The cool-down will still initiate.
There are rewards! For now, the first 3 at the top of the list receive rewards. These rewards won't be initiated until members actually start brawling and there are at least 4 members with numbers at the end of their tags.
There are also penalties for the lowest members. These won't be activated until there are at least 5 members with numbers at the end of their tags.
If you're a top tier dominant, you CAN challenge lower tier dominants- ONLY if they're being disrespectful IC, you'll be rewarded dominance points for asserting dominance. If you challenge someone lower than you, you'll have dominance points deducted.
Rewards

4. You must wait 3 days before challenging again or being attacked after brawling.
5. If you break a rule of the RP you will be banned from participating in Dominance for a set amount of time, based on the rule broken. Break a rule again and you're banned permanently.

Notes
- When "Higher Level" Lion(ess) is mentioned, it is referring to a lion(ess) with a point value that is at least five greater than your own.
- When "Same Level" Lion(ess) is mentioned, it is referring to a lion(ess) with a point value that is within five of yours, both ways. (Ex. A level 15 lion would consider someone who's level is 19 or 11 within their level.)
- A "Lower Level" Lion(ess) is a lion(ess) with a point value at least five less than your own.
- The reason that the cost of losing a battle to a lower level lion(ess) is so steep is because if you have the advantage, there's no reason you should lose.
- When the positive values are given under "Challenge," it is implying that you challenge and win.
- Any good deeds performed that are worthy of dominance points that either gender can do, such as defending cubs, will receive five dominance points.
- Any bad deeds that are worthy of a deduction of dominance points will receive a deduction of ten dominance points. This includes unfair play, such as having another lion(ess) assist you in a dominance battle.
